"Uton, Jani Hirvonen, is back on Black Horizons with his new full length. An understated gem of blistering, buzzing, layered psychedelic noise. Buzzing insect noise, field recordings, looping rhythmic pulses all come together to create an immersive whole. Moving through 11 fairly short tracks that feel like meditative vignettes of the psyche, sometimes bright and ecstatic but often taking a turn for the ominous and sinister. Hence the appropriate BH fit. Full color digital printing on metallic vellum. Hot pink tapes with paint splattered neon green photocopies labels."
